Weapon attachments, magazines, and suppressors

This drop is all about the guns — how you build them, feed them, and quiet them down.

Mod your gun in your hands

Attachments got a full rework. Press I to inspect the weapon you're holding — it tilts up and callout lines point to every mount. Click a slot to see what fits from your kit and snap it on; right-click an installed attachment to pull it back off. No trip to the bench required.

The parts list is deep: red dots, holos, ACOGs and long-range scopes (zoom scales with the sight), suppressors and muzzle brakes, foregrips and bipods, lasers and flashlights (press U), and underbarrel grenade launchers and shotguns you fire with the middle mouse. Every piece shifts real stats and keeps its own rarity — a suppressed CQB build handles nothing like a scoped marksman setup.

Magazines, reworked

Building a gun no longer needs a magazine — assemble it, then seat a mag and go. Press Y to eject your current mag back into your kit (it keeps its rounds), and the gun visibly runs empty until you slap a fresh one in. Reload is still R.

Suppressors that sound right

Suppressed weapons now have dedicated reports — a deep AK-pattern thump for bullpups and a sharper crack for standard rifles — and we fixed a bug that was muffling suppressed fire into near-silence. Screw on a can and you'll actually hear the difference: quieter and dimmer, but present.

Gunsmith cleanup

The gunsmith's buy shelf is sorted into tabs now — ammo, magazines, and attachments split by slot (optics, muzzles, grips, tactical, components) — so you're not scrolling one endless list to find a part.
